The teacher needs the projector on Thursday and reserves it on Monday. The reservation is visible to everyone in Inventaris, and on Thursday the projector is ready.

What the module can do
Pick like in a shop
In the catalogue everyone can see what there is: a picture, a short description, where it is kept and how many are free. Several devices can be reserved at once.
Daily overview
Today’s reservations are on the overview, sorted by pick-up time, so every device is ready in time.
Nothing is locked
The device stays available until collection. That keeps the collection usable day to day, even when a lot is reserved.
A limit to suit you
At most a few days at a stretch. How many, your organisation decides. That way everyone gets a turn.
Collection ticks it off
Once the device is handed out, the reservation counts as redeemed and is therefore complete.
Not collected lapses
If a device is not collected, the reservation expires and the period is free again.

What is asked next
May borrowers reserve for themselves?
Yes, for themselves. Staff also reserve for others.
What if two people want the same device?
A period can only be assigned once. Whoever asks second can see who has reserved the device and until when.
