The school library, without the card index
Scan the ISBN and title, author and cover appear. Students search the catalogue, borrow by themselves and place holds. Teaching materials go to the teacher as a class set and come back together.

What the module can do
Add by ISBN
A scan is enough: details come from ISBNdb, the German National Library or Open Library, and the cover is stored with us. Without an ISBN, by hand.
Self-checkout for students
Search, borrow and place holds with their own account, set up via the group SiGR-Inventaris-SuS or by hand. The management enables self-checkout. Students do not borrow devices and teaching materials themselves, including at the kiosk.
Holds with a queue
First come, first served. When a book comes back, the return says who to set it aside for, and that person gets an email.
Class sets in one go
25 readers for class 3a: one loan, one due date, one return. Individual books can also be returned separately.
Import and take your holdings with you
Import your existing list as CSV, with a preview. Barcodes already on the books stay. The export delivers everything in the same format.
Separate from the device inventory
Books don’t appear in values, stocktaking or the device list and don’t count towards the subscription’s units. Pricing is tiered by number of copies.

What is asked next
Is this included in my subscription?
No. Library and teaching materials are each an add-on, available with any subscription and tiered by number of copies. To try them out, we enable them on request.
What if a book has no ISBN?
Then it’s entered by hand. This mainly concerns cantonal teaching materials and older books; everything else works the same.
Can others see what a child reads?
No. The reading history is visible only to the person themselves and to whoever runs the library. Students see only their own loans. After the retention period the name is removed from the history.
